Walking down the street in Santa Monica, the Playing for Change crew heard Roger Ridley singing “Stand by Me” from a block away. His voice, soul and passion sent the crew on a worldwide journey to add musicians to the performance. In doing so, Playing for Change was transformed from a group of individuals to an international movement for peace and change. Journeying from the US to Europe, South Africa and the Himalayas, this film documents that transformation and is a testament to the inspiring and connecting power of music.
