Arna comes from a Zionist family and in the 1950s married a Palestinian Arab. She established a theater group in Jenin, located in the West Bank, for refugee Palestinian children to express their everyday frustrations, anger, bitterness and fear. Arna's son Juliano, the director of this film and also the director of the theatre group, filmed the children during rehearsal periods from 1989 to 1996. He now returns to see what happened to them. Shifting back and forth in time, we come to understand the complex story of lives trapped by the circumstances of the Israeli occupation. A very important film which sheds significant light.
